ENGLISH SONG AND BALLAD MUSIC.
"With a garland of straw I'll crown thee, Jove,      But, if thou wilt harden thy heart, love,
I'll marry thee with a rush ring ;                        ' And he deaf to my pitiful moan,
Thy frozen heart shall melt with love,                  Then I must endure the smart, love,
So, merrily I shall sing.                                         And tumble in straw, all alone.
Yet still he cried, &c.                                             Yet still he cried, &c.
